blogs are a great way for anyone to generate great income.
There are two ways to generate income on your blog. Both ways are through advertising. One really good way is through google adsense. You get paid per click from your advertisements (this is how I make money) speaking of which, I would love it if you would click on my ads for me .
Sign up for an adsense account from www.google.com/adsense This is free as well. The way this works is each person bids on a "keyword". The keyword could be anything that is search on from a search engine. Based off that keyword, the advertiser pays a certain amount for each click on that advertisement (called pay per click or PPC). Google then pays the adsense users a percentage of the keyword bid price as a sort of a referral fee.
These adsense clicks can generate any amount from a few pennies to a few dollars per click. I've heard rumors of people receiving as much as 6 dollars from a single click!
Your blog that you create can be about anything. I've found a few good blogs from my searches. I know that there are people that make as much as 10-20,000 dollars a month from blogging.

The advertisements on the site generate revenue for the blogger. The second method of generating income can be seen on this site. There are programs that you can use for advertisers to post ads on your site. Usually they charge a weekly or monthly fee depending on how much traffic your site generates on a day to day basis. For high traffic sites, of course the fee is higher. You can very easily make from hundreds to thousands a month by advertising in this way.
